Aggravated Battery by Cutting - 7600 Hurst

On July 7, 2008, at 9:35pm the victim was visiting a friend in the
7600 block of Hurst. The victim was standing in the street when a
female known as Yolanda Harris B/F 10-16-1964 approached her and began
to call her names. Harris then produced a knife and stabbed the
victim twice in the left forearm. Harris then fled the scene. The
officers observed two small puncture wounds to the victims left
forearm. The officers spoke to the victim who stated that the
perpetrator is known to carry the knife and often threatens people in
the area when intoxicated.

UPDATE: Second District Task force memebers apprehended the subject a
few days later at her home.
