I can not provide anything further than what is given, I do not have the authority.

 

You are correct, if you inmate inquiry a name and a picture shows up that indicates the subject is still incarcerated.  If you place the subject’s name into the Docket Master you should be able to view the bond amount and which section of court the case is assigned and any pending court dates.

2nd District Email Blast Armed Robbery at S Carrollton & Spruce

Armed Robbery at S. Carrollton & Spruce

The victim parked her vehicle in the 1900 block of S. Carrollton.
Upon opening her driver-side door, an unknown black male, riding a red
bicycle, fell down beside her vehicle. The victim stated she did not
remember striking the subject however; she immediately began asking
him if he was okay, but he didn't respond. The victim then pulled out
a small leather wallet, containing $300 in cash (2 $100 bills; 5 $20
bills), credit cards and her Louisiana driver's license. Exposing all
the contents inside the wallet, the victim then offered the subject
$20 for any possible damage to his bicycle. The victim stated the
subject then pulled out a pocket knife, with a black handle and large
blades, and said, "Give me everything in your wallet." The victim
stated she then gave the subject her wallet, at which time, he gave
her driver's license back to her, and fled northbound on S. Carrollton
Ave., then unknown. The victim could only describe the subject as a
black male; thin build with short twists in hair, mid twenties,
wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

2nd District Email Blast Armed Robbery - 4200 block of S Johnson

Armed Robbery – 4200 block of S. Johnson

On 7-15-08 the victims were renovating the residence located in the
4200 block of S. Johnson when the 2 subjects entered the rear of the
residence. Holmes was armed with a silver revolver and Speed was armed
with a black handgun. The subjects pointed the weapons and the victims
and demanded their property. The victims complied and handed over
their cell phones, a set of keys and a wallet containing ID cards. The
victims then ran out of the front door and notified the home owner who
in turn summoned the police. Responding officers were informed by the
victims of the perpetrator's description. Two subjects fitting that
description were located in the 3400 block of Milan Street. Both
subjects were arrested and booked accordingly. After a canvass, none
of the stolen property was located.

2nd District Email Blast Aggravated Battery by Shooting - 1700 blk of Monroe

Aggravated Battery by shooting – 1700 block Monroe

The victim stated he had just parked his vehicle in the 1700
block of Monroe Street. As he and two of his friends were walking in
the street they observed a white van approaching. As the van drove
past them the victim observed two guns sticking out from the rear
windows of the van. The occupants of the van then began firing the
weapons at the victim striking him once in the lower left leg. The
van then fled from the area. The victim was then transported to
University Hospital where he was treated for his injury.

While on pro-active patrol in the area, Second District Task
Force Officers observed the shooting and gave chase after the white
van. After a brief chase the occupants of the van fled from the
vehicle. The occupants were apprehended shortly after and arrested.

2nd District Email Blast Aggravated Battery on Joliet Street

Aggravated Battery – Joliet Street


The victims stated they were both inside the bedroom of their
residence when they were approached by the arrested subject, Jacoby
Augustus. Augustus, who was armed with a golf club, began to swing
the club at the victims striking victim #1 on the left side of her
head causing a small laceration to her left ear. Victim #2 was struck
several times in the head causing a small laceration to her left
temple which required seven sutures. She also sustained two
lacerations to the rear of her head which required staples to close.
Victim #2 was also struck on her left hand which caused a bruise.
Both victims were relocated to the hospital by their father and was
treated by ER doctors. After receiving treatment the victims were
discharged. While interviewing the victims, Augustus arrived at the
hospital where she was identified by the victims as the subject who
struck them with a golf club. Augustus was then arrested.

2nd District Email Blast Major Narcotics Arrest

Major narcotics arrest

Second District patrol officers and narcotics detectives responded to
a "911" call to 7929 Forshey Street. As a result of the response by
officers two (2) arrest were made which netted Two (2) hand guns,
Eighty-Two (82) grams of Heroin, and three and a half
(3.5) grams of crack cocaine. Additionally, the suspects were charged
with possession of stolen property, one (1) hand gun.

Note: One of the suspects was apprehended by members of the N.O.P.D.
K-9 unit. The arrestee was treated for injuries sustained during the
incident and processed at central lock-up.

Aggravated Battery by Shooting – Milan & S Tonti

On Saturday, 07/05/2008 at about 11:20 p.m., the victims were at the
intersection of Milan Street and South Tonti Street. The victims
reported hearing several shots and observed that the driver was struck
in the face and the rear driver's side passenger was also struck in
the right hand.
Second District Detectives were assigned to this incident and through
their on scene investigation located the crime scenes and recovered
several AK-47 and 9mm casings. Detectives canvassed the area for any
witness; however, none were located.

Note: The driver is listed in critical condition; the passenger is
listed as stable condition

Aggravated Battery by Shooting – Olive & Hollygrove

On Saturday, 07/05/2008 at about 3:24 a.m., the victim and his cousin
had stopped at the intersection of Olive and Hollygrove Streets.
According to the victim, he heard several shots in the area and drove
off. While driving from the location the victim noticed that he had
been shot in the left side of the hip. The victim's cousin then
transported him to Tulane Hospital.

Second District Detective Baldwin was assigned this incident and upon
completion of his on scene investigation noted the victim's vehicle
had a bullet hole that entered the rear hatch door, traveling through
the back seat, and the front driver's seat striking the victim. He
also learned that the victim did not see anyone during the time the
shots were fired.

Armed Robbery – Constantinople & Dryades

On July 4, 2008, at 2:06am the victims had parked their vehicle and
were entering the driveway from the street. As they walked towards
their residence they were approached by three unknown black males who
produced an unknown type hand gun and demanded their car keys and
wallet. The victims complied and the subjects fled with the victim's
vehicle.

Note: The victims added the third subject stood on the street and fled
in the vehicle with the other two perpetrators.

Shooting – 9000 blk Edinburgh

The victim stated he entered a friend's vehicle to drive to the store
when he heard gunshots. The victim stated he then observed he had
been shot. The victim stated he jumped from the vehicle and fled for
his safety. The victim stated he did not see any perpetrator or
perpetrators.

The detectives conducted a canvassed of the area and learned that
three young black males was the perpetrators. The detectives located
the assault rifle that was possibly used in the shooting.

2nd District Email Blast Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer - 8700 block of S Claiborne

Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer – 8700 Block of S. Claiborne

On Friday, 07/04/08, at approximately 12:44 pm, Officers were
dispatched to S. Claiborne and Eagle Streets to investigate a
suspicious person who fit the description of an armed robber. The
description was given to the responding officers as a black male, long
dreads, dark complexion, white t-shirt and black jeans. The robbery
was reported to have occurred on 07/04/08, at approximately 2:00 am in
the 8800 block of S. Claiborne Avenue.

As officers arrived on the scene the suspect fled on foot towards the
rear of 2417 Eagle. Officers attempted to apprehend the suspect in
the rear yard; however, as the officer attempted to handcuff the
suspect he became violent and began punching the officer in the head.
The subject made good his escape fleeing into an unoccupied residence
located in the 8800 S. Claiborne. Additional Second District officers
arrived on the scene and rendered aid to the injured officer, while
simultaneously securing the building in which the suspect had forced
his way into.
Assisted by officers from the N.O.P.D. K-9 unit the suspect was
flushed from the building, through the roof, where he was apprehended
without further incident.

The injured officer was transported to Tulane Emergency room where he
was treated for injuries sustained in the incident and released.

2nd District Email Blast Simple Robbery - 8700 block of S Claiborne

Simple Robbery – 8700 block of S. Claiborne

On July 4, 2008, at 2am after parking his vehicle and while exiting
same he was approached by three unknown black male suspects. At that
time, the suspects inquired if the victim needed anything, he replied,
"no." The suspects then without warning began to assault the victim
knocking him to the ground. Once on the ground, one of the suspects
went into the victim's front pants pocket and removed approximately
$300 in U.S. Currency.

Second District detectives were assigned to the investigation and as a
result of their follow-up investigation it was learned the incident
was recorded on a local store's surveillance system. Armed with this
evidence detectives were able to identify one of the suspects and he
was immediately apprehended.

2nd District Email Blast Auto Burglaries - Audubon Park and Nashville Streets

Multiple Auto Burglaries – Audubon Park and Nashville Streets

Officers of the Second District responded to a call for service of a
possible auto burglary in progress in the Audubon Park and Nashville
area. According to the witness the suspect was a white male who was
smashing vehicle windows and removing property. Unfortunately, the
suspect had fled the scene prior to the officers' arrival.
Second District Detectives Gore and McCaskill were assigned to the
incident for follow-up. Based on information learned through their
investigation the detectives developed a suspect, one Calvin Dell,
white male, age 26. Armed with his information the detectives were
able to secure an arrest warrant for Mr. Dell and a search warrant for
his residence.

The search warrant was then successfully executed netting additional
information adding in the investigation and apprehension of Mr. Dell.

(3) months. In over 80 of those incidents vehicles were not secured,
allowing perpetrators access to guns, cash and laptop computers. For

2nd District Email Blast Aggravated by Shooting - 9000 block of Edinburgh

Aggravated Battery by Shooting – 9000 Block of Edinburgh

The victim stated he had entered a friend's vehicle to drive to the
store when he heard several gunshots. Realizing that he had been
wounded he fled the area for his safety. The victim was unable or
unwilling to describe the suspect.

Second District Detectives from the Persons Crimes Unit conducted the
on scene investigation, which yielded information that lead to the
recovery of the suspect's weapon.

2nd District Email Blast Aggravated Battery by Cutting - 8200 block of Willow

Aggravated Battery by cutting - 8200 block of Willow

The victim parked his vehicle inside the Whitney Bank parking lot. A
short time later a friend of the victim observed a black male stooped
down next to the victim's vehicle. Concerned, he alerted the victim
and they went to investigate; however, the subject had fled the area.
Upon examination of his vehicle the victim noticed one of his tires
was flat and contacted a tow service for assistance.

While waiting the service truck the victim's friend noticed the
suspect had returned to the area. The victim then approached him and a
verbally altercation ensued. During the altercation, the suspect hit
the victim with a bottle, and also stabbed him in his hand. The
victim was then able to remove the broken bottle from the suspect,
cutting him (suspect) with it.

Note: Both the victim and suspect were transported to University
Hospital and received medical treatment.

Arrested Corpora, Joseph White Male 12-30-87 5'11" 165#

**Officers on scene arrested both subjects and the witness, who was
wanted in Jefferson Parish for a non related incident.

2nd District Email Blast Narcotics Arrests on Clara Street

Narcotic Search Warrant at 3419 Clara street.

Second District Narcotics Detectives executed a Search Warrant at 3419
Clara. Detectives confiscated 11.3 grams of 'crack' cocaine, 6.10
grams of Marijuana and four
(4) Guns – including one sawed-off shotgun, and one stolen handgun.

Arrested:

Christopher Charles, W/M, 7-24-72
Hezron Williams, B/M, 5-30-62.

2nd District Email Blast Homicide - 5000 block of S. Prieur

On June 29, 2008 at 5:39pm officers responded to a call of a male shot
at the above location. Upon arrival the officers located the victim,
who had been shot several times. Emergency units responded and the
victim was pronounced dead by doctor at University Hospital. Upon
completion of the on scene investigation it was determined that the
perpetrator was one Peter Richard Rubens, a white male approximately
fifty years old.

Note: The wanted subject and victim were known to each other.

Homicide Suspect arrested: On 06-30-08 at about 2:00 am the suspect,
one Peter Richard Rubens was arrested after her returned to the scene
of the crime.

2nd District Email Blast Aggravated Battery - 7600 block of Hurst

According to the victim, she and the wanted subject were involved in a
family argument, which had carried over from the previous night.
During the argument the wanted subject produced an unknown type hand
guns and struck her about the face.

Warrant: Tennessee, Edward Black Male 09-27-1989

2nd District Email Blast Aggravated Battery - Earhart & Joliet Street

On 6-27-08 at about 7PM, officers responded to a shooting to notice
the victim with a gunshot wound to the right upper arm. The victim
stated he was in his vehicle about to leave work when and unknown
black male approached him on foot, asking asked for a fellow co-
worker. The victim told the subject that he was gone, at which time;
the subject produced an unknown type of handgun and began firing at
him. Suspect: is described as a black male about 20 years old, clad
in all black clothing. The victim was transported to University
Hospital with a gunshot and is listed in critical but stable
condition.

Suspect: UNK Black Male 20yrs 5'09"
