NOPD 2^nd District

 

On May 2^nd at or about 11:35 pm, a male and female were standing in front of an apartment building in the 3600 block of St. Charles Avenue. The victims were approached by a black male subject armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded the victim’s wallet and purse. The victims complied with the suspects demands and handed him their property. The suspect then fled on foot toward Claiborne Avenue.  The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10”, 145 lbs., light complexion, wearing a black t-shirt and dark colored pants. The suspect also had a white bandana covering his face.
