RE: 2nd District, Zone B, Shots fired

Clark

I was out working last night when the gunshots were reported. I heard it come out on the radio. I believe it was Gen. Pershing Street – not exactly sure. At any rate, we are still in the area and we continue to provide a presence there. I will let my guys know about Twin. Thanks for the heads up.

Captain,

For the second time in the past week shots were fired in Zone B.  I counted 8 in rapid succession, sounded like a semi-auto.  On either sunday or monday I counted 6, but they came from an automatic weapon.  Clearly the violence is spilling into our neighborhood.

Please keep us informed.  We want to help, we want to get guns off the street.  We want to get convicts with guns off the street.  Please keep us in the loop.

Best Regards,
Clark Thompson

P.S. I'm not sure how much your detectives keep in touch with the sherrif about who gets released.  "Twin" is back on Valence street.  I'm certain he is a felon, I'm also certain that when he walked in front of my house this weekend he had a handgun in his waistband.  Several years ago his twin brother was implicated (by rumor on the street) in a murder.  He was convicted on a lesser crime, and I believe that brother is still in jail.

I'm frankly frightened that this young man has "trained" in OPP and is now back on the street with a handgun.
