4700 Tchoup. - Armed Robbery

On August 21st at or about 6:00 pm, a black male entered a business located in the 4700 block of Tchoupitoulas Street. He shopped briefly, placing several items on the counter. When the clerk approached, the suspect pulled out a black handgun and robbed the clerk of approximately $200 from the register. The suspect escaped on a bicycle heading lake bound on Bordeaux Street. The suspect is described as a 15-17 year old black male, 5’3”, 120 pounds, dark complexion, wearing jeans and a tan fisherman’s floppy hat.
