4605 Magazine - City Council Meeting

Dear Magazine Street Friends,

We have a copy of many of your letters in opposition to the demolition of 4605 Magazine Street. Please note the City Council hearing for this request will be Thursday, February 21, 2008 in the Council Chambers. The council meeting begins at 10:00; however, we will not likely get to this matter until 11:00 or later.

Please feel free to forward this notice to anyone who would be interested in stating their position with regard to the request to demolish this building. Please note the owner of the building has already received the Conditional Use to have a medical clinic (specifically, an imaging center) at this location based on the approval from July 2007. That approval, however, was based on plans to rehabilitate the building and only demolish the cinder block building in the rear of the parking lot.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns and if others would like to send their positions in writing, in advance of the council meeting, they can email or fax them to my attention so that I may bring them to Councilmember Head’s attention.

My email address is cdgendusa@cityofno.com and our fax # is 658-1025.

Thank you,

Carla D. Gendusa, J.D.
